Chris LaMont graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University. He is co-founder of the Phoenix Film Festival, Phoenix Film Foundation, Phoenix Film Project which is now IFP - Phoenix, International Horror & Sci-Fi Film Festival, and the Arizona Student Film Festival. As board representative for the Phoenix Film Festival on the Arizona Film and Media Coalition, helped to write legislation (specifically lowering threshold to accommodate low-budget indie filmmaking) that became Arizona Motion Picture Tax Incentive.
